What size dumpsters are available to rent? 

Heartland Container offers 3 different sized dumpsters. Dumpster sizes available are 12 cubic yard, 15 cubic yard and 20 cubic yard.

What style of dumpsters do you offer?

All of our dumpsters are made of steel, well maintained, and not an eye sore to your neighborhood. Each dumpster has a door that swings open on the backside so you can walk heavy items into the dumpster if needed. Our entire fleet of dumpsters are also driveway friendly meaning they all have polyurethane wheels and frame pads that will not scratch or mark your concrete. This is a patented design that is only available from our company.

How long is the rental period?

The standard rental period is for 9 to 11 days depending upon which weekday the dumpster is delivered as Heartland Container is closed weekends. If you complete your project before the scheduled pick up date, we will gladly pick it up earlier. If you need to keep the dumpster longer we offer a daily rental rate however extended rentals need to be arranged at the time of booking as dumpsters are scheduled to go out to other customers on the scheduled pick up date.

What if I exceed the weight limit on my dumpster? 

Any weights in excess of the specified weight limit will incur an additional charge of $50 per ton. If your dumpster is overweight you will be notified by the office. Weight limits are as follows:

12 yard - 3000 pounds of materials

15 yard - 4500 pounds of materials

20 yard - 6000 pounds of materials

What materials are accepted in the dumpster?

  • Roofing Shingles (*restricted to 12 yard dumpster due to weight, up-charge applies)

Are there any materials that I cannot put in the dumpster?

These items include, but are not limited to:

  • Acids

  • Asbestos

  • Batteries

  • Propane

  • Gasoline

  • Concrete

  • Dirt

  • Rock or Stone

  • Tires

  • Appliances

  • Toxic Chemicals

  • Oil

How do I get a quote?

Call us at 402-289-9313. Or simply e-mail us but make sure to include your location and or zip code, type of debris and dumpster size needed.

How far in advance do I need to order a dumpster?

We recommend to schedule your dumpster a week in advance during peak season (Spring and Summer). During the off season we can usually deliver the dumpster the next day, during business hours, as long as we have it in stock. 

How high can I fill the dumpster?

Please do not fill above the top of the dumpster. All loads are secured by a tarp and we cannot tarp dumpsters that are filled above the fill line. Over filled dumpsters are dangerous to haul and pose a risk to motorists due to debris that can fall over the sides.

What methods of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards (via phone), processed through our secure credit card processing system.

What if I need to cancel my dumpster reservation? 

We ask that you confirm your dumpster needs prior to booking as once a dumpster is reserved it is held back from being rented out to complete your reservation. If you must cancel please call us as soon as possible so we can terminate the booking. There is a $20 fee for cancellations.

Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Closed: All major holidays
